Victoria is a voice, text and dialect coach, based in London. She has an MA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a BA in Acting from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and an MA in English Literature from Cambridge University.
She works in Theatre and TV, always using her background as an actor to find effective and playful strategies to help the actor feel as comfortable and as embedded as possible within the accent. She also devises and delivers corporate communication training to clients in both the UK and USA.
Born in London, but raised in a bi-lingual German and English speaking household, she specialises in German language and dialect. She has also coached many regional accents of the UK, as well as a variety of North American and European accents.
Her theatre voice work includes: Small Island, Hamlet, Jekyll & Hyde, Peter Gynt, The Visit, Manor, Three Sisters, My Brilliant Friend, Faith, Hope and Charity (National Theatre), The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Bridge Theatre), Leopoldstadt (as assistant voice coach - Wyndhams Theatre)
Her theatre dialect work includes: Young Marx (Bridge Theatre), Matilda the Musical (Cambridge Theatre and UK & Ireland Tour), Beware of Young Girls (59E59 Theatres, New York).
TV work includes: Wool (Apple TV), Beehive (Tiger Aspect)
She has worked as a voice and dialect tutor in many UK drama schools, including RADA, LAMDA, Mountview, Central, Fourth Monkey, The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe.
