Robert Zemeckis directs the new Pinocchio film from a screenplay by himself and Chris Weitz, adapted from the original Disney animation. Live action collides with the world of animation and we see Geppetto, played by Tom Hanks, build and love his puppet Pinocchio, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, as if he were his own human son.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Pinocchio's conscience, Jiminy Cricket, and helps the puppet navigate the world of real life adventure. Whilst Cynthia Evrio stars as the Blue Fairy and keeps the world of animation, creation, and imagination alive. Also in the cast stars Lorraine Bracco as Sofia the Seagull, a new addition to the original characters, Luke Evans as The Coachman and Keegan-Michael Key as 'Honest' John.
Together the cast put on an astounding spectacle that takes viewers right back to their younger years and leaves them in an innocent state of awe and wonder.
